Adding Running Notes to a contact
Running Notes are free-text notes you keep on a contact — a running log of calls, context, and anything worth remembering about that relationship.
Adding a note
- Open the contact's detail page.
- Go to the Notes tab. The section inside is headed Running Notes.
- Type your note in the text box.
- Click Add Note.
Your note is saved instantly and appears at the top of the list.
How notes are displayed
- Notes are shown newest first.
- Each note records who added it and when, so you have a clear audit trail across your team.
- If there are no notes yet, you'll see an empty-state message prompting you to add the first one.
Tips
- Jot a quick note right after every call or email so context isn't lost.
- Running Notes are for your team's free-form context. For scheduled to-dos with due dates, use the Actions tab instead, and for a full history of system-logged events see Activities.
- For what the AI captured during a recorded demo, check the Demo Pulse tab rather than writing it up by hand.
