Adding Running Notes to a contact

Running Notes are free-text notes you keep on a contact — a running log of calls, context, and anything worth remembering about that relationship.

Adding a note

  1. Open the contact's detail page.
  2. Go to the Notes tab. The section inside is headed Running Notes.
  3. Type your note in the text box.
  4. Click Add Note.

Your note is saved instantly and appears at the top of the list.

How notes are displayed

  • Notes are shown newest first.
  • Each note records who added it and when, so you have a clear audit trail across your team.
  • If there are no notes yet, you'll see an empty-state message prompting you to add the first one.

Tips

  • Jot a quick note right after every call or email so context isn't lost.
  • Running Notes are for your team's free-form context. For scheduled to-dos with due dates, use the Actions tab instead, and for a full history of system-logged events see Activities.
  • For what the AI captured during a recorded demo, check the Demo Pulse tab rather than writing it up by hand.
